6 Luxury Cars to look for in 2020

TFX International

July 30, 2019

Every year brings a new suite of faster and more technologically advanced luxury cars. 2020 will be no different. As always, there’s a lot to be excited about — the reboot of a classic, revamps of many favourites, hybrid options and more. Here are six of the most anticipated 2020 luxury and exotic cars.

  1. Ferrari F8 Tributo

The 2020 F8 Tributo replaces the 488 GTB. It’s 90 pounds lighter than its predecessor and has an even more aerodynamic shape. Notably, it features the most powerful V8 engine in the marque’s history, which delivers 710 horsepower and accelerates to 100 km/h in about 3 seconds.

  1. Maserati Alfieri

Maserati has six launches planned between 2019 and 2022, the most highly anticipated being the Alfieri’s, slated for 2020. Teased back in 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show, the Alfieri is the marque’s “next-generation sports car.” It’s also the pioneer for electrification at Maserati and will be offered as a plug-in hybrid.

  1. Aston Martin Rapide E

Based on the popular Rapide S, the Rapide E is the marque’s first’s electric car. The super sedan has a range of about 320 km per charge and a V-12 engine delivering 602 horsepower.

  1. Jaguar 2020 XE

The 2020 version of Jaguar’s popular luxury sedan has improved features and a refreshed look. Notably, it’s packed with technology, including an optional Smart Setting feature that uses artificial intelligence to recognize who’s driving and adapt the features like seating, steering column, climate control and music to one’s individual preferences.

  1. Land Rover Defender

2020 will see the triumphant return of the iconic Land Rover Defender. It promises to be as hardy as the previous generations of Defenders but will feature numerous upgrades. This includes a more comfortable interior, a modern look and the latest connectivity and driver assistance technologies.

  1. Rolls-Royce Ghost

The next-generation Ghost has the same elegant look as its predecessors but has been revamped in a number of ways. It’ll be built on the marque’s new all-aluminum chassis and will include additional safety features, a head-up display and an infotainment screen that slides out of sight when not in use.
