So we unpacked the bikes, had a couple of Budweisers® from our travelling cooler and waited for the truck. Although transportation was a little pricey, the transport was flawless. At the beginning of the trip, they picked the bikes up at our communal garage and brought them back, six days after we returned, no crating and uncrating, no forklifts, no finding a drop-off and pick-up point, no fuss, no muss.”

We used a shipper that was very experienced in importing cars from the States called TFX International. They have a fleet of trucks, including several huge 50 foot, all-hydraulic, enclosed, padded trailers that can carry five vehicles, which ours came in. They even have hydraulic lift platforms for loading, which are perfect for vehicles with low front spoilers. This company has shipped everything from Formula 1 cars to vehicles owned by movie stars, though they specialize in transporting snowbirds’ cars for retirees that winter in Florida. They are based near the Pearson Airport in Mississauga, Ontario, and I would recommend them very highly.
